The "Materials Science and Engineering - MSE" congress and exhibition will open its gates for the first time offering a wealth of topics in the areas

• Functional Materials
• Structural Materials
• Materials Processing
• Materials Characterisation
• Materials for specific application areas These areas are substructured into more than 40 symposia that are subject to a comprehensive Call for Papers – an excellent opportunity to report on your latest results. MSE 2008 will be a major meeting place for the materials community in Germany being supported by 16 German materials societies. Students and junior scientists will benefit from specific promotion programmes. Exhbitors are welcome to join this most dedicated clientele.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts is only a few weeks away. Abstracts are supposed to be submitted through the conference website www.mse-congress.de.
