Call for Scientific Papers and Quality Review Articles
As you may know, the Institute of Nanotechnology and AZoM pty havejointly launched the online Journal of Nanotechnology. It offerseveryone in the global scientific community the opportunity to readpapers published in the online Journal completely free of charge, thusenabling information to be disseminated to the widest possible audience. Currently, the website www.azonano.com, which hosts the online Journal, is the most widely accessed nanotechnology website on the planet.
Importantly, all papers submitted to the journal will be subjected tothe same rigorous peer review that you would expect from a traditional paper-based journal. This process is managed by an editorial board of leading international scientists, see http://www.azonano.com/founding_editors.asp.
We believe that allying the peer review process with free access will result in the quick establishment of a very respectable impact factor for the journal. Furthermore, a share of the revenue received from related advertising and sponsorship will be distributed to authors and reviewers as follows:
* Authors receive a revenue share of 50%,
* Peer reviewers receive a revenue share of 20%,
* The site administrators receive a revenue share of 30%.

This revenue share will apply throughout the online published life of the individual article or paper.
This concept of free information is widely supported by the UK Government. See the recent (July 2004) report of the UK Commons Select Committee on Science and Technology called: 'Scientific Publications - Free for all?' This can be downloaded from:
http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm200304/cmselect/cmsctech/399/399.pdf

Support this move to freedom of scientific information by sending us your paper for publication. And please let me know your thoughts.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Tiju
