Foundation The Institute of Nanotechnology (originally the Centre for Nanotechnology founded by Ottilia Saxl in 1994) was one of the world's first nanotechnology information providers, and is now a global leader. The IoN works closely with governments, universities, researchers, and companies worldwide on developing and promoting all aspects of nanotechnology. It also serves as a key organizer of international scientific events, conferences, and educational courses designed to encourage nanotechnology takeup by industry, as well as stimulating interest in less developed countries.

Bioencapsulation Research Group  

Bioencapsulation Research Group (BRG) was initiated in 1990 to improve collaboration between researchers involved in bioencapsulation. Created in 1990, the BRG has growth quickly to reach 900 groups, distributed in 60 different countries and includes 25 % of indutrials. Bioencapsulation Research Group has the following objectives * promoting the development in bioencapsulation field * encouraging multidisciplinary and international collaborations * developing and tranfering bioencapsulation processes to industries * contributing to international research networks programs * supporting trainig of young researchers and emerging countries * organising annual international workshops and several other events Bioencapsulation Research Group offers many services including * an annual international conference, workshops, technology trade fair (see meetings) * Access to other intiatives (see related web sites) * a dedicaced reference database (see bibliography) * and a large spectrum of contacts, collaborations and support to its members.

ANALYTIK-NEWS ist ein unabhängiges, neutrales Internet-Portal fürs Labor. Das komplette Angebot wird betrieben und gehört der Dr. Beyer Internet-Beratung, einem unabhängigen Dienstleistungsunternehmen für die Laborbranche. Ursprünglich wurde die Seite im Jahr 1998 als Homepage und Archiv des ANALYTIK-Newsletters eingerichtet, der seit November 1998 einmal monatlich kostenlos per Mail verschickt wird. Dieser war ursprünglich Teil der Seite analytik.de, die von uns komplett aufgebaut und bis Ende 2000 administriert und gepflegt wurde. Nach der vollständigen Beendigung der Kooperation mit analytik.de zum 31.12.2000 wurde ANALYTIK-NEWS als eigenständiges Produkt weitergeführt. Um den Anforderungen eines vollständigen Informationsportals gerecht zu werden, wurde die Homepage von ANALYTIK-NEWS seit Anfang 2001 erheblich erweitert, unter anderem um ein Diskussionsforum und eine Jobbörse für Analytiker, einer Pinwand mit aktuellen Angeboten und Gesuchen sowie einer kommentierten Linksammlung für die Laborbranche, die heute die mit Abstand umfangreichste und am besten gepflegte ihrer Art im deutschsprachigen Internet ist. Alle Links werden in regelmäßen Abständen auf Gültigkeit geprüft! Das Angebot umfasst inzwischen mehr als 6.000 Links zu Herstellern, Händler, Labors, Forschungseinrichtungen, Diskussionsforen, Literatur, Fachinformationen und vieles mehr.
