Dr. Curt Thies, has 44 years of microencapsulation experience. He is Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering, Washington University, St. Louis, where he taught for nearly 30 years and was voted by students as Engineering Professor of the Year four times. He was head of the polymer/Microencap-sulation Research Section at NCR for 7 years. Thies Technology has dedicated to the research and development of new encapsulation techniques. Dr. Thies holds many patents in variety of fields in microencapsulation applications. Our cutting edge technology base, tenured application experience and commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence enable us become a trusted leader in the microencapsulation industry.

Thies Technology is not o­nly specialized in custom design microencapsulation, but also provides standard micro-capsules for laboratories and for everyday applications.

Thies Technology also provides Microencapsulation Short Courses taught by Dr. Thies. He has been teaching these unique microcapsule short courses for 27 years globally. His short courses are the longest running lab course in the world devoted exclusively to the hands-on teaching of students about the synthesis of microcapsules by a variety of different techniques.
