Bioencapsulation Research Group (BRG) was initiated in 1990 to improve collaboration between researchers involved in bioencapsulation. Created in 1990, the BRG has growth quickly to reach 900 groups, distributed in 60 different countries and includes 25 % of indutrials. Bioencapsulation Research Group has the following objectives * promoting the development in bioencapsulation field * encouraging multidisciplinary and international collaborations * developing and tranfering bioencapsulation processes to industries * contributing to international research networks programs * supporting trainig of young researchers and emerging countries * organising annual international workshops and several other events Bioencapsulation Research Group offers many services including * an annual international conference, workshops, technology trade fair (see meetings) * Access to other intiatives (see related web sites) * a dedicaced reference database (see bibliography) * and a large spectrum of contacts, collaborations and support to its members.
